Coyote Club was developed by John Pazdon and Mary Mazur in 2007 as a way to introduce children to nature-based studies, survival skills, native crafts and environmental stewardship. There are countless topics which they will likely introduce over the course of the program. While mother nature will strongly dictate what subjects are best taught for the week, there are a few subjects that make up the “core” of our lessons. Some of these subjects include: animal tracking, bird watching, survival skills, navigation, shelters, etc.
Please pack a snack and water bottle for your child along with weather appropriate clothing. After class your child may join in one of the Great Works enrichment programs, and pick up will be in the Great Works lobby at 4:00pm. Students may also take the late bus home from the enrichment program.
Registration is through the Eliot Community Center.
